PS the car still suddenly opts for the LimpHomeMode .... when the errors pop up. Sometimes a stop and restart of the engine and off it goes again.
Clear the codes and it is also back to normal ... for a while. |

What is vida showing in the Delivery Tabb?
I think you do want to look for a leak at the intercooler / pipes I have never seen anyone have any luck running a after market MAF, Dave |

If you have decided "original" maf is toast, you have nothing to loose by trying to clean it. I have had both successes and failures in cleaning a MAF. You should note - 1) It does not always work - some people say never clean a MAF - If the "maf fault" is a symptom not the cause you can kill a perfectly good maf. 2) If you do decided to "clean" use an electrical cleaner - I've used Halfords, deffo not WD40. 3) Once you start to clean a MAF, you may find ( I did) that the interval between cleans gets shorter - I ran a 2002 V70 T5 from 100K+ cleaning the MAF every year/ 6months / 3 months over a 140K. I tried the same technique on my 2004 AWD R and it would not work - I bought a genuine Volvo MAF - problem solved. One thing you do gain is cleaning also gets progressively quicker Cheers Bob |

Just taken a closer look at your pics...All your error messages bar the air sensor are yellow - meaning that the fault currently is not present. At this point if you click the delivery tab, then click the "read all" then "erase all" and follow the on screen instructions they should go away..
Or perhaps I have misread even more in this thread... Cheers Bob |

sorry for hijacking this thread but can't start a thread???
hi guys, really need help with my DiCE and 2014D vida,
2015 V60 vida running fine correct driver for vm when vida connects, all lights on DiCE flash in sequence (very close together sequence) without usb in or vida up. firmware flash green = good, usb steady = good, BT off = good, vehicle interface status flashes orange = communicating with system, although I think it's supposed to go steady. when I run the 'Read vehicle' I get: - Not possible to read out information from the vehicle No response from the vehicle. Possible causes are; Ignition is not on, the vehicle is older than model year 1999, defective CEM/CDM. Please could someone help, pulling my hair out. tomorrow will cost me a fortune at volvo if I can't sort out. If anyone lives near Mytchett that has a Vida/DiCE set up I would appreciate any time you have today so I can eliminate known good parts of this puzzle Thanks in advance, Shaun NB, as I was packing up to go back in the house a XC60/90 (one of those) pulled up across my drive, a bit rude but I saw an opportunity and asked if I could plug in my set up. The result was exactly the same as my car so I can pretty much put the issue as the Vida or DiCE I think Last edited by ShaunC; Oct 27th, 2019 at 15:36. Reason: more info aquired |

I did help some one that had a dice that would not work correctly, in the end it was a fuse holder that powered the obd 2 port needed cleaning, I used a 12v power adaptor into the socket on the dice and it worked , Dave Last edited by davebb; Oct 27th, 2019 at 16:28. |
