good stuff mitch

cant remember if i ever told you?...

the old style round logo you posted up,i had that printed on laminate,a bit lighter shade of blue than the one you posted up.
i had it done as a 3 foot square,cost me about 15 pound though!

i have this of course on the garage wall.
cant seem to find much garage decoration of the old style volvo logo.

Thanks Pez. D5driver is going to make me a couple of stickers and I'm going to make a light box for them and see what they look like. I was hoping for some original signs but not found any.

Got a few stickers made up at work down in England. I couldn't get the exact correct font but this isn't too bad I think. It will do for a couple of Volvo signs around the workshop but will still try and make one that is lit.

Thanks but I don't think the guy who does the stickers here would let me upload anything to his computer. The sticker machines are just used to make plain stickers for around the terminal so I just got the font that looked the closest from the font options already on his computer.

Volvo won't even allow the Owners Club to use the copyrighted font so perhaps best to use a close alternative. No point in getting into legal trouble.

They do have their own font but there are two that are almost identical, one they copied but I doubt they are going to be bothered about me making a couple of signs.

for personal use its all fine only issue would be if you was to produce them to sell etc

so feel free to use what ever font you want the club would be in public domain so of course they fall under that banner .. hence need to follow the law to the T

in my eye a font is a font basic material to use as such and yup some better looking than others but its words at end of day
