Default Seatbelt cutting into the interior

Hi

I am having a concern with the front seatbelts. The car has c90k so has had a lot of use. Where the belt comes out of the side it is starting to cut into the plastic. It is about 5mm at the moment which is starting to make it awkward pulling the belt across.

Has anyone had this and if so what did you do.

I want to rectify this before they slice the car in half

Many thanks

Matt

The only cure is for a new plastic cover - I've had one replaced already.

This will likely cause as mot fail as well as it will restrict free movement of the bely and also cause it to fray which the examiner will pick up.

Mine was done by the dealer under warranty so no idea on cost or whether diy.
