1982 Volvo 244 DL

I have for sale a 1982 Volvo 244 DL Saloon. She has a 4 Speed manual gearbox and is powered by a 2127cc engine ( 2.1 ) and has done approximately 116,000 miles with previous mot certificates to support this. Exterior is finished in beige with a brown chequered cloth interior. It has 11 months mot. family owned for 22 years and garaged for that period until recently.

A regretable sale but sadly she requires a new owner to hopefully prepare her for the next 22 years a true classic of the 80's a car with character. So go on preserve the cause and dig deep. I will be looking for £800 or nearest offer.

pricewise I think you might be lucky to get £800 for a DL model but pics would help!

Great to see such a lovely early 'DL' model. My dad had maroon '81 DL- best car ever!!

HI Chris, sorry to inform you, your dads 244 is no longer on the insurance database, this could mean the car is on sorn or could possibly have been scrapped/written off.

Thanks Steve- yeah Dad's car hasnt been taxed since the mid-nineties when it went over to england somewhere. Guess it's long gone but just keep the signature in case anyone remembers it.

He traded it in for a rover 400....
