Yeah I know...very unhelpful comment from me made at end of a bad day, sorry about that.

My biggest problem at the moment is a complete lack of anywhere to keep it - Mum's S40's in the way

Really would be a shame to see it scrapped though.

Looks like a nice car. Does the ES have the rear disc brake setup like the GS? Any record of a recent cambelt change?

I still miss my 460, although it would make no logical sense for me to buy another! Especially having my Octavia vRS. I'm sure a 460 has more character though!

And yes, please don't scrap it!

Hey Andy.

Yes, discs all round, ABS too.
Seem to remember it having a cam belt a couple of years ago in the history, but they're a doddle to do anyway tbh.

Is a cracking little car really.
I'd keep is, but I think I'm up to 12 cars now. I think. I've lost count.
I simply don't have the space on the drive and taxing half a dozen at a time is crippling me.

Ah ABS, what my last 460 was advertised to have, yet I discovered it did not when having to jam my brakes on at 60mph!

As much as I'd love another 460, it simply wouldn't make any sense for me unfortunately. I fear that if I 'break' I'll end up with as many cars as you

Looking at my old records, it only cost me £80 to have my old ones cambelt at an independent back in 2006!

Ending up with as many cars as Steve is my worry too...this one is so tempting. No promises at all but if the S40 goes soon so I have space I may yet break on this if it is still there!

The S80's just gone back on ebay with no reserve, sadly I fear the same will happen with this unless anyone makes me an offer.
