Please can you tell me where you got the spigot ring (ideally with a link)?

Is there anything special about the jack that is obviously also required?

I managed to find a '14 space saver complete with the foam bit in the middle, jack, brace etc for £40 from a gent on Gumtree. I thought the fact that he is in Dorset and I'm in Manchester might be an issue but a courier was only £10.

So £50 all in for the complete package. Pretty happy with that

That's an Absolute bargain,
Don't think I was far off that just for my unused wheel and tyre!

I got them from Ebay, I had to buy a set of four.
PM your address and I'll pop one in the post too you.

Not sure about the jack, I'm using a bottle jack I already had.
Hopefully someone else can confirm if the jack is special for the XC70 over a V70

The jack on the xc70 is different to the v70 but exactly the same as the one on the xc60. It has an extended top on it to make up the difference in ground clearance over the non SUV version. They are about £50 from somewhere like FRF (i.e. About the same as a new Space saver).
The cutout in the polystyrene box will fit either version.
The one from a Ford Kuga may also be the same jack.

You can use the wheel without a spigot ring - it's just a bit more trickly to get the bolts in.

However there is a plentiful supply of the correct wheel on ebay so I don't see the point of messing about with parts that don't quite fit.
