Default Part number? Battery cable

Hi
2001 1.8gdi
In the summer my lower amperage positive lead came off and I bodged it back on. I should replace it as it is too short and is wedged into the battery terminal.
However this means that both battery positive cables are batting warm/hot.

Anybody know the part number?

Try https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/s...duct=1118477#6

Looks like its item 6 for neg and 10 or 21 for pos

But TBH i'd just get an auto electrician in to splice in a new one or go to scrappy

X2 for going to wreckyard. That cable is not cheap. I found a lovely one at my local pick your own and saved myself a pile of cash.

David I’m all for saving money against some basic car items: ~ so this may be an alternative for you, battery cable isn’t anything special or the end connectors if you need to replace them.
You will get the correct cables from classic car electrical suppliers https://www.autosparks.co.uk/catalog...battery+cable+ is a company that can supply but the items will also be available from eBay.
Battery terminals can be reused and the opposite ends are all available- shrink sleeve is also handy or use tape.
A soldering gas torch is required but not that expensive if you haven’t got one.
Hope it helps--- Bob
