Default Spicer Axle for sale

I have an Amazon, Spicer axle for sale (the non overdrive version that fits up to 1966). It was very recently rebuilt by a specialist including £500 worth of bearings etc supplied by Amazon Cars (receipts available). Following the rebuild it is much quieter than it had been but more noisy at 70 MPH than I had hoped. Other owners have said it is fairly normal but I wanted it quieter. I have just replaced it with a new one (not yet tested) so it is for sale for £100 ono. Buyer to collect from Cornwall or I can bung it on a pallet and you can have it collected. The new one cost £54 to have shipped to me by www.pallet2ship.co.uk It is a bare axle without back plates etc. Geoff 07831 315744

Default Rear axle

Hi Mitch, thanks for that. Yes I saw it however I am off to Suffolk in the morning (very early) to uplift an EMV one from Rob and Emma at Amazon cars. I had hoped to take my Spicer one down with me but it was going to cause my brothers who have the garage in Tayport, lots of problems so when the EMV is fitted I will send mine down by carrier.
Rob is then going to see what the problem is and rebuild it but if the EMV is quiet then that will do me and I will get £90 back for mine. He is tied up until September! Can't believe it.
I trust you are well and the downturn in the oil industry isn't hurting you too much. Amazing how things change.
I will let you know how I get on with the EMV.
Cheers
Bob
