XC60 2017> B4 Engine DPF
Had an XC60 for just over 6 weeks with 5000 miles on the clock. Noticed a burning acrid smell and what resembles exhaust fumes entering the passenger compartment when in slower traffic, regardless of distance.
Car has been recovered to dealership who couldn’t find fault and said it is the DPF regenerating. Is it normal to be able to smell it inside every single time? Is it a normal feature of DPF’s? Has anyone got experience or advice? I’m slightly upset as this is otherwise my dream car but doesn't feel safe with these fumes anymore. Thanks Last edited by dodette; Oct 13th, 2020 at 20:56. |
