I'll find out, I think he said it was a F reg which I think makes it about 88

Its a 1991, he thinks a saloon, he said the tail lights are about 18" long and the indicator follows the line of the 1/4 panel

says its a wee short boot, so it may well be a hatch back, but I think by his discription its a saloon

all the rear lights are the same fit on the 300 series. the difference is the light layout. MK1/2 versions have the rear lights all in a row

where as later versions (after 85?) have these

so mk2 rears will fit both the hatch and saloon afaik, same with the later lights. Correct me if I'm wrong!
