Default Jacking S60 under rear bumper

Hi,
I need to change the rear shock absorbers on my 2005 S60 D5, and when I jack the car up underneath the subframe and support by axle stands there, the jack won't raise the car high enough for me to easily get the shock absorbers out underneath.

The easiest thing would be to jack the car under the rear bumper to get it as high as possible. On the offside (driver's side) there is the fuel tank - I suspect it's not a good idea to jack the car up by raising the fuel tank?

What is there on the other (near) side - is there a suitable jacking spot where the jack wouldn't damage the exhaust?

Jacking the car using the rearmost side jacking points should be sufficient.
If not, you might be better investing in a more suitable jack.

Do you mean the jacking points in front of the rear wheels (as opposed to behind the rear wheels/near the rear bumper)?

I do appreciate I could probably invest in a larger trolley jack at some point!

yes in front of the rear wheels on the large jacking points is best, or put on ramps,

I normally jack where the subframe is bolted to the chassis and there's a triangular piece of reinforced metal - isn't this the right place?

Drop the shock to the floor, then use a small bar inserted between the spring coils to force down the shock rod. Then quickly remove the shock before the rod comes back again.

Additionally, you can use a second jack or a bottle jack to rise the suspension alone some more (may use some wood blocks to rise the jack if the car is supported securely by jack stands

These are my rear jacking points https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0gtY-IZQgfw

Is there even a dedicated jacking point past the rear wheels near the bumper?
