Hi Hugh, thank you for your interest. About to start when I got bronchitis. Shall be doing the job next week and will report the outcome. I managed to get LHD switch pack from ebay for £18.00 and if it lasts a couple of years I shall be very happy. I can get through several of these and it still works out cheaper than £120.00 for a RHD pack. Thanks again Hugh for all your help and guidance. regards jack

This a rewrite of the hack I pioneered a while back. You must do the wring swap, without this, you'll simply 'fry' the new LHD switch.
Don't mince about cleaning the old switch. These Chinese switches are actually better than original, they've looked at the spark-supression issue, and bug-fixed this. As I said way back, and repeated here... Quote:
