Wink Immobiliser/Alarm fault -fixed!!

I had some problems with my T4's alarm. It kept locking itself with the keys still in the ignition and then went off, sometimes it just went off for no reason at all. So I noticed that when I open the driver side door or the rear right door the foot lamp+roof lamps doesnt go on but if I open the two front/rear doors on the passenger side the lamps comes on. The problem had been two door switches, (the ones that tell the car when a door is open or not to switch on the roof lights etc.) so I opened them (luckily they werent sealed units) and they were quite badly corroded inside on the contact points wich led to making no contact and not telling the car when the door is open/close, so I rubbed it off with sandpaper, sprayed it with CRC switch cleaner and -fixed! So if some of u are having the same probs u know where to look and what to do.
