Default B20 engined 140's

I wonder if anyone out there could give me a definitive answer to the question of exactly when the B20 was introduced in these cars. A Google search indicates either '68 or '69 but it would make my day if there was any genuine proof that they were about in '67.

Thanks in advance.

The B20 engine was introduced in 1969 year model cars. 1969 year model cars began production arround september 1968. No B20 engine in 1967.

Thank you, that does make sense.

Certain rally organisers will allow the B18 cars into the pre '68 classes but the B20 cars (and similar engined amazons for that matter) are specifically excluded.

On those events, post '68 B20 variant cars can only compete for class awards, not overall placings.

Shame!
