Just one pops off or splits at one side or another. It is mostly around the middle two injectors but it is random and they have all popped or split at some point. Yes Leak back test done at Firth diesels in Rotherham. And they are all working fine. 40 put in and between 17.5 and 18.5 returned. I Just cant seem to find what it is im missing! Ha

No they pop or split in one corner and its generally the middle two injectors but they have all popped or split at some point. Yes i get the injectors tested at Firth diesels in Rotherham. 40 was put in and they returned between 17.5 to 18.5 so all good. Brain racker!

? that the injectors are fine. He thinks it is the pump too.

Please can we revive this topic.. almost every single thing stated in this thread my car is doing or has done.... Including vibrating like mad!

(Volvo s40 2.0D 2005)

I have changed all injectors, got a second hand fuel pump, changed fuel filter, new air filer, oil change, coolant change, completely removed tank and cleaned it out, changed the upper and lower engine mounts and still need to change driver side engine mount.

It runs but there is less power now at lower gears when it use to be really fast in lower gears and it also has a odd low bass from the exhaust which is new since injectors and pump changed.

Sat at idle its almost unbearable the vibration but to accelerate above 1000rpm its completely normal.

i need this fixing badly.....
