Default Volvo V70 T5 SE Estate 2006 Blue - £999 - Bristol

For sale is my Volvo V70 T5 SE.

Originally a company car, it was purchased by the employee and maintained extremely well for the whole of its life. I have a chunk of history plus a spreadsheet of the work carried out over the years.

This is up for a quick sale as I'll be part exchanging it on Saturday morning (3rd March) if unsold and it would be great to see it sold to someone who'll keep it going and look after it.

It's done 195500 miles (about 12,000 in the two years I've owned it) and it's a lovely drive: comfortable and quiet with a great turn of speed from the 2.4 turbocharged 5 cylinder petrol engine with the 6 speed "spaceball" gear shift. 0 - 60 is dispatched in 6.5 seconds and top speed is limited to 155mph. Gives the kids in the hot hatches a surprise from the lights if you feel that way inclined.

As its the SE model it comes with plenty of features including:
- dual zone climate control
- heated leather seats with driver's auto adjust with memory function (linked to keys, also sets wing mirrors)
- cruise control
- automatic wipers
- auto dimming rear view mirrow
- traction and stability control
- tow bar with electrics
- 6 CD changer in dash, I've also added a GROM audio bluetooth box (microphone included but not wired in)
- trip computer with range, average speed, fuel consumption and average fuel consumption
- seven cup holders (yes, really!)

The previous owner has also uprated the rear roll bar and fitted T6 front shocks to improve the handling. I also have the second hand T6 front springs if you wish, these will firm up the front but I've never felt the need. In my time with the car I've had the front ball joints, front tyres and new battery fitted. Always run on Super Unleaded and treated to oil changes every 7500 miles, one is due in around 1000 miles.
The car has 3 keys, floor mats, dog guard and rubber boot liner.

This is a 12 year old car and it's showing its age in the bodywork: someone's keyed down on the left side (pictured) and the bonnet has a twist in it with a small chunk of paint missing. The previous owner forgot to latch the bonnet after some maintenance, took it out for a drive and the bonnet flew up. It never hit the windscreen, but pulled the hydraulic ram for the bonnet out and twisted the bonnet - I've always meant to replace but never got round to it. I won't have time to wash or hoover the car so it's not in best presentation but it is a lovely fast, quiet, comfortable and huge car.

MOT until July.

Test drives welcome this week in the evenings after 4.30 - if it's not gone by 8am Saturday morning it's off to the PXed! Anyone test driving must show insurance or you can be a passenger with me.

£999 - Located in East Bristol

Thanks for posting this car for sale rather than just trading it in.

If I hadn't have just bought a v70 I would have had this off you.

Fingers crossed the car goes to a good new home.

A lot of car for the money. Had I not just purchased mine I would have been very tempted. Hope someone has 'rescued her'.
