Default Ignition Barrel

Bit of a long shot here ... does anyone have a working ignition barrel and key for a 121 at all? My key has just snapped!! Having to start her with a screwdriver at the moment!

get on to the phone to brookhouse mate,they sell brand new replacement ones,with two keys,and the keys are a bit thicker than the originals.
i bought one for mine last week as the barrel is starting to get a bit tight.
they cost £60,but in my opinion its a very good investment.

Converting to press button start will protect your investment or will delay the need to buy new if your old switch/key is getting a bit frail.

Its not a major drama, but with the Amazon and a Royal Enfield to run I wouldn't mind a break from buying new parts!

If you are after a good used one, I have a few around. None are the later style, but the pre-'65 style with the heavier key (Assa Brand).

Is the convertion to push start a straight forward job, if so can you outline the parts needed please.
