Try your local dealer, they will normally give the code out free, if not, ring FRF Volvo at Swansea, speak to the parts department and they'll help you out

ANOTHER WAY...
1) Turn ignition on
2)Turn off the radio
3)HOLD "6" while holding turn your radio back on...

4) enjoy

I got mine directly from the Volvo site, but this only works if your radio is the original, or perhaps if it was replaced by a dealer.

Edit: Site says this is for US only

if you do figure it out, write it down in permanent ink or paint pen on the radio chassis itself.

BTW, if you haven't already, try pulling the radio out to see if anyone has done that already.

After having a near-fit over an attempted £80 decode charge by my local dealership, I gave the guys at Swansea a call, telling them that I'd found their details on here.....All I had to do was email them various details, and 24hrs later, received the correct code for my HU-605 unit...Thanks Simon, you're a diamond!

The codes are held by the importer in your country where ever the volvo head office is , they will need , the radio serial number as above , the Part number from the label on the radio and the radio type eg CR 906 for example .
