This doesn’t work on my T8. Are you sure you did not enable the function to activate handbrake when the engine turns off?

No, it works on all automatics.
"The parking brake is activated automatically: -when the car is switched off and the setting for automatic activation of the parking brake is activated in the centre display. -if the Auto hold function (automatic braking when stationary) is activated and the car has been stationary for a longer time (5-10 minutes). -when gear position P is selected on a steep hill." https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support...426-2019-18w17

I was talking about this one. I guess the steep hill must be really steep. In front of my building the parking place is slightly inclined and the car always gets stopped by the gear...

Some good stuff here. Q. What is the voice command to cancel navigation? if you say "stop navigation" you just turn off voice guidance.

Perhaps:
"Clear itinerary": Clears all stored intermediate destinations and the final destination in an itinerary. As explained in: https://www.volvocars.com/uk/support...a801510538c305

If I haven’t used it for a while, I tend to forget the phrase. However, actually asking for “Help” brings up a list of appropriate commands.

Say “Take me home” sets home address in NAV and plots fastest route.
