D3/D4 Do they share the same head?

Hi,

I may be on the lookout for a new head after a failed Coolant Tank and Head Gasket on my V50 D4 (D5204T)

I've read somewhere that the D3/D4 are basically the same and the bhp/torque differences between the two are ECU based.

Can anyone confirm that the D3/D4 heads are the same?
