Did you clean your dpf by removing it or just fuel additives?

I used Liqui Molly two part DPF cleaner followed by a Regen triggered using Vida... It was amazing, filled the entire back garden with a white cloud that reduced visibility to about 5 feet... regen lasted about 20 minutes and then the car drove like new, I had the DPF professionally cleaned off the car once and did a DIY off the car job twice but none of these ever felt so free when being driven,,,
https://www.googleadservices.com/pag...9aACCEU&adurl= used this technique with a applicator made from a weed sprayer. from Argos with some aluminium tube/rod from B&Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=020MdntTw34 |

yes it goes up and down so it creates very high temperatures in the DPF the real mystery to me is how the DPF reached 620+ whilst the cat was only about 300.....
It then holds the temp at the desired level until it is happy.... Very strange to see your car doing VRMMMM VRMMMM VRRRRRRRRRRMMMMMM all by itself.... |

Would be a bit of shock to the neighbours if you forced the regen in the street!

But it was a shock to me... They would probably think your car was on fire... But you could tell them otherwise... I think in my particular situation it was a windless day and we have high walls around our garden so the smog gathered at ground level... I have done regens without the treatment liquid and there was little or no issue... I would do it in the dark on a windy night maybe during rain... |
