Default Electronic tailgate manual only

Hi,
I have a problem with my electronic tailgate on my 2014 V70.
I had a new lock fitted last year as wasn't opening properly, works fine now.
Before taking to the garage last year, I tried the fix with the ground wire problem that sorts the problem with the boot not opening, lights not working, wiper not working etc. Of course it didn't make any difference as the lock was the problem.
Unfortunately, I did a bad job of it and last weekend the boot stopped working. Looked at the ground wire fix that I'd done, and it had all corroded and burnt out.
Took it to the garage today for them to sort for me and now everything works fine except the boot unlocks fine from the handle but now won't electronically open or close. I have to manually lift it up and down.
Any ideas anyone?
Thanks
