Headlights?
Hello Gents
I have a 97 V40 with 51000 on the clock, and want to know if i can change the original headlights which are getting a bit clouded for the later twin light version without doing any silly expensive stuff?, by the way, anyone know how much these headlights cost? Cheers Tank |

You can change the headlights to the twin light version but you will need to change the wiring so it connects to two lamps instead of one. Im not 100% but I think Volvo do a conversion lead for it, that would be worth checking. If not its not to hard to do and there are some guides about for it. As for buying the lamps I would think a set from the breakers or ebay would be your cheapest option.

I had the same problem when i bought my '99 v40, I went to my local motor factors store and bought new H4connectors and a pair of xenon upgrade headlamp bulbs, worked a treat, total cost £26.00.
