Default Headlights?

Hello Gents
I have a 97 V40 with 51000 on the clock, and want to know if i can change the original headlights which are getting a bit clouded for the later twin light version without doing any silly expensive stuff?,
by the way, anyone know how much these headlights cost?
Cheers

You can change the headlights to the twin light version but you will need to change the wiring so it connects to two lamps instead of one. Im not 100% but I think Volvo do a conversion lead for it, that would be worth checking. If not its not to hard to do and there are some guides about for it. As for buying the lamps I would think a set from the breakers or ebay would be your cheapest option.

I had the same problem when i bought my '99 v40, I went to my local motor factors store and bought new H4connectors and a pair of xenon upgrade headlamp bulbs, worked a treat, total cost £26.00.
