S60 2005 "54" D5 Chugging on Tickover
My S60 has been chugging on tickover for sometime now and I can't work out what it is. I've had the Codes Read and its comes back with Low Fuel Pressure. (I have changed the Fuel Filter twice in the last year, and only ever use shell or BP fuel)
When its cold in the morning it starts fine, and returns good MPG on a recent run of 200 miles it claimed 54mpg at a steady 80-85ish. Anyone had this issue or can shed any light on what it may be. Am i right in thinking that it being an "54" I am past the injector issues? its done just over 100k now. and this issue has been there for the last 8-10k. Thanks |

So, they still do have issues even the later models.
the rev's fluctuate sightly on the rev counter when driving at a constant speed. Should the injector be obvious on a leak off test? |

looking at the leak of test that i have posted you can see that there is nothing alarming. lets say for arguments sake that injector 5 the farthest left was at 10mil that injector would need replacing.hope that helps

It was injector number 5, came back a little high on a leak off test. Changed and runs sweet again. Charged £222.00 for the delight.
