Default injector class engine balance

I read on this board that from 06/2005 there are no injector classes anymore
Is that true?
I also noticed that the partnumber on my injectors are obsolete (post the number later) why is that and what is different on the replacement injectors

And could someone hint me what to point out to someone with vida equipment what to do /look for to do an engine balance test? (injector adjustments readout)

Well im dependend on people who see water burning when i ask them to perform such a balance test.
Could you elaborate what to point out to them in vida so that they are in the right menu?

Thanks mike
You mean leak off test like fysical measurement with hose and botles ?

There is a limit in compensating individual injectors , is this also shown in the test in VIDA that the maximum adjustment is used?

I believe the proceedure with these is that once the injector is changed a software is downloaded which enables the numbers on the injector to be programmed in , It is no longer class 1 2 or 3 but a serial number which presumably tells the ecu the flow rate of that particular injector .

@clan

So basicly still the same, but in stead an single number it becomes an injector serial nr
Any idea of the procedure to check if the right serial nr is programmed in the ECM?

If everything is original they will be right , but to check you would have to get the software done and re enter the numbers on the injectors if injectors have been changed .

I have the car a few months and replaced the lifters and rocker arms ,when the injectors came out they werent stuk and could be removed by hand and they looked quite "new" .
Because i find the engine a bit "rough" i want to rule out if the previous owner didnt adjusted the new injectors in the ECM.
The rica e-power remap is deffinetly also responsible but can also compound an previous error.
I want to be sure every possibility is checked before i want remap adjustments etc

I didnt knew the "software" needs to be redone? i tought it was just a setting that needs to be altered?
