Default Rear Wiper

Rear wiper has stopped working today, it has stopped at opposite end of boot (possibly when I knocked the ignition off mid way). I checked the fuse and it was ok but pins looked a bit manky so sanded and refitted, no joy.
Might try some contact cleaner around the holder.

Any other suggestions?

It could be any number of issues. The circuit needs to be investigated methodically with a test light/multimeter. There might also be a DTC to read with VIDA.

Finally got round to looking at this again. It had randomly worked a couple of times I'd noticed. I took fuse out again, sanded and then cut a nail file down and sanded in the fuse holder. Didn't seem to work. From the following day though it's been working 100% again!

On the blink again, works the odd time but slow to start. I tried cleaning the fuse and holder again but no joy.

It's more than likely the motor, mine packed up about a month ago. Sometimes worked sometimes didn't and sometimes it just got stuck in the middle. You can disassemble the motor easily and clean it out, chances are it's let a bit of water in through the rubber grommet in the window and the splined shaft is either a bit rusty or the grease inside has gone mushy. I tried this on mine but it was actually very clean inside. Ended up buying an aftermarket one on ebay for under 30quid and it's been great. But I tried to fix and repair before replacing.

Mine is doing this too and is a replacement part . Seems the quality is perhaps suspect.
