I was just about to post these, look great value at £250 each! Ones even tax exempt. The tax exempt one was last taxed in 2007 so could be an easy project.

The blue one reminds me of my very first Volvo a 144dl auto K reg. It went on forever until I stripped the fibre gears.
The Gl was a much better spec. I assume the one in the picture would have the B20e. A definite bargain at £250 |

The GL is a rare car and definatly worth saving
looking at http://howmanyleft.co.uk/vehicle/volvo_144_gl there are a total of only 8 surviving and this one being a 1974 could well be the latest surviving one. I hope some one picks it up and restores it |

sorry about the double post. im new to the club, new to the forum. and a novice with the computer.yes i have some photos of "Violet" ill have to get my grandson to show me how to upload them.Ive had her 18 months she has 64.000 miles but cant verify that as Ive very little history.My son is the mechanic in the family he knows all the tech bits. Ive also got a X reg Volvo 244DL in yellow."Summer" is at the moment undergoing a makeover, sills to weld,brakes to sort,ect.My daily car is a Volvo V70"Ruby" shes the young un.(2003) Ill put photos on as soon as i can.
