Would like an aux connector in my xc90, shame as this is a good write up but don't have the tools or the time really.

At first sorry for very late reply. I was traveling with my XC from Cardiff to Slovenia and than to Serbia 2500 km and had a wonderful trip crossing Welsh, London, Euro Tunnel, North France, Lower Germany, Salzburg, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia...

Yes I can do it for you and I DONT wont any money I will do it for free you just cover good soft box and post. As Im in this moment in strange country with custom stupidity we can arrange this to send to my friends in Slovenia and I will do it as quick I can.

Anyway Im glad that so many people DIY. Yes I like it.

Hi again. I have problem. I did everything as described. BUT, still hear the background music when mp3 player is plugged. Its not loud, but annoying.
Anyone can help? Is the author sure that the R9 line is the one to be cut, not something more? Or maybe I've cut the wrong R9 line?..lol: Thank you all very much.

You've probably not cut the line completely. I switch my HU to AM and there is zero background noise.

Maybe I have cut the wrong line. Thank you very much. If you don't have any background noise, then I am definitely had cut a different track.Here is a picture of my board, and if anyone can tell me where the line should be cut, as my board looks different. I have cut the track next to the R9 sign (you can see the little mess) but it is cut, i have checked with multimeter. Thank you very much all.

Well, I gotta say... this is possibly THE SINGULAR most awesome mod I've done to my car since I got it... so far...

Really impressed with the sound quality, it is faultless!!!
