Default Roof bars

I'm on the hunt for some roof bars, the cross the roof type for my 2010 V70 with rails. Looking around the obvious choice is Oem, halfords cost a fair bit more, cheap ones ain't worth the risk, and lots of other copy looking types on the net, anything decent is dearer than Volvo. I'd be taking a sea kayak, bicycle, and roof box in varying combinations. Now thinking of a used set if I can find some, preferably with the t track, and found some Oem bars advertised as for V70 and V50 ? As v70 ones seem thin on the ground (time of year) I wondered is this correct and gives me a wider scope of search. Checking Volvo accessories, the v70 and V50 numbers don't match, plus the size difference in vehicles makes me doubt the claims. Obviously there will be universal ones, I have some Argos ones atm but nervous about long journeys with them, plus no t track.

Beware of some after market types that look similar to the Volvo ones. My son fitted some to his p2 s60 ,all looked fine until tightened and they buckled one corner of roof panel !

I bought a set off eBay the other day for £35, can't remember the name. First trip out with the roofbox on, I was worried about how secure they were, but after an emergency braking 'episode', they hadn't budged.

I didn't want to find out they were fine, quite like that, but I'll take it.

Thule offer bars suitable for the V70, you can find the right part on the link below and then find it on Ebay/Halfords.
