Starter Problem on 2.3 760 Turbo

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if ther is some relay in between the ignition switch and the starter cellinoid. And if so, where is it located.

Starter motor is OK but hesitates when turning the ignition key and sometimes doesn't turn engine over at all. I know the starter is OK, because I can get the engine started by linking the starter motor feed to the cellenoid with a screwdriver.

Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks

It may be a worn ignition switch.
