Default P1800 Door Adjustment

How is the door height adjusted? Is it the 4 hinge screws that you can just see between the front door edge and the body? Mine has dropped a little and needs raising.

If it's dropped due to wear to the upper hinge pin it's best to tackle that first.

Yes, the kick trim panel has to be removed. It's a long time since I did mine but from memory the four bolts you will find behind the trim secure the hinge to the body and give you door adjustment.

Height adjustment is gained by slackening them and lifting the door upwards/downwards/fore and aft. Shims are fitted between the body and the hinge to give inwards/outwards alignment.

Don't forget to re-tighten all bolts!
