I’d like to lower my V70 and wondered if there are some easy options.
Does a T5 have a lower stance for example and would those springs fit? Has anyone found any good solutions that don’t make the ride too hard? Any thoughts greatly received. |

As far as I know the T5 doesn't have a lower ride height unless it was originally specced with the "sports suspension". I have just fitted a full set of Eibach springs https://eibachshop.com/index.php?p39...s-volvo-v70-ii to my 2005 V70 T5. The ride height is reduced and the comfort hasn't been reduced by any noticeable level. The car has a fully poly-bushed front end including subframe bushes so it's "direct" any way.
I had some Apex springs on my last V70T5, the ride was atrocious, way too hard and crashy. So bad I removed them and left them outside for the scrap man. |

Thank you.
I bought them from the link I posted, beware they took the order, payment and then advised that they would be delivered six weeks later. All four shocks (Bilstein) had only done 2.5kso they were re-used. The front top mounts were also in good condition so also went back on. |

Which Bilstein shocks did you put on? I was thinking of putting the lowering springs over the standard shocks. Is that not advisable? |

I fitted oe spec Bilstein B4's, nothing special. If your shocks are half decent it won't be an issue.
