1968 123gt
I have decided to place my very clean and useable 123GT up for sale, the ad can be found here http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C852258
She comes with an engine overhaul, suspension overhaul, stainless bumpers and relatively new paint. A replacement passenger seat base cushion would be ideal, due to a tear along the inside and the drivers doorcard has a small tear on the bottom which is only noticeable if pointed out. Ring me for more details or message me. Regards Along with more pictures. [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |

I have decided to bump this and also knock a 1000 off the asking price, this car is worth the asking as it is in excellent condition.
Regards JP |

It looks great. I'm watching this one as I think it's time to increase the stated value of mine (your is nicer but...) with the insurance company. But they are both green with tan interior.

hmm.. and that would account for the rear axle looking like its a bit off to the right??
hit a rock or a very stubborn badger?

I've seen rods that have a slight curve in, probably to clear the diff on certain axles but never anything that extreme. Looks like the prop is out of line too?

That bend is well higher than the axle so doesn't look like accident damage more deliberate which is probably more worrying! prop is well off centre and the whole axle looks 'skew' bet it drives round corners all by itself.

I appreciate the feedback, and to be honest I never payed much attention to the orientation of the rear axle until it was pointed out. The panhard rod came with the car, it is an aftermarket one fitted by a PO and I left it as is but looking at the pictures I can see the misalignment. I got a replacement from another Amazon and fitted it and the misalignment has been resolved. Upon measuring the distance between the fitting points there was a 4 mm difference which would explain the misalignment. Well done to the eagle eyed members here for helping me resolve the issue.[IMG]
