Default Wrapping

Just wondering has anyone wrapped their XC90?

Was it a good job? Any issues or problems?

Haven't had a complete wrap, not even a panel wrap, but we did get the Chrome surrounding the windows on our XC60 done in black. They matched the paintwork really well in colour, and it looks like it came out the factory like it. .

Just out of interest how much was it to do yours, I am thinking of doing the exact same to mine as the wife XC40 looks great and my Saville Grey I think would also look great

Did you also go for the mirror caps and the front grille surround ?

My mirrors are already colour coded so didn't need doing, and I thought doing the front grill surround would ruin the look so left that.

Also, my initial thoughts were to have the Chrome doorstrip done as well but OH over rode that decision - she liked that it had "Inscription" on it, and to be honest (don't tell her) I actually agree now.

I paid £200 for the Chrome around the windows to be done in black - and definitely the right decision in my mind.

If you're any good with photo editing (use PAINT or editing on your mobile), take a picture and colour the chrome in (as near) the colour you want to get an idea of the finish.
I did that with the front which helped make my mind up to leave it chrome.

Save your money, same with specialist coats/protection etc, unless you are happy to pay out just to feel better about 'your paintwork protection'.

Wrapping unlike 'protection coats' does offer some protection, but a few hundred £ spent now and then with a good body shop to clean up chips etc, costs less.
