Hi

Thanks yes I know all about that you can get engine mounts
From IPD the gearbox is a problem
problem with going down that root is then every thing is custom
if i go the slant root every thing will fit from volvo parts bin
and a easy fit of a 5 speed box

Is your Amazon a late one?
And rhd?
if rhd you will be the first who is able to fit a b230 slant plus turbo.
The carbs from penta marine engines are scrab for cars, you will never get it running in a proper way.
There is a way to get a 5 speed behind the upright.
google or duckduckgo more. A lot of other people did this already.
good luck, Kay (would like to have a 2.5 16V Penta too, they are really expensive here)

As far as I remember the B230 sump fits without any issues.

You will need to convert to a 240 distributor or go wasted spark as there is not the room for the head mounted 940 type dizzy
