Default Conflicting and confusing titles

Hi
After my recent problems with lack of boost I've decided to change the TBC,
AA fault code reads Turbo Boost Control Solenoid
Haynes Manual reads Turbo Boost Pressure Regulator Valve
Volvo Parts Computer Turbo Boost Actuator

Are these all one and the same or am i getting confused ??

All the same, just different "names".

A solenoid is an actuator (actuator just being the "generic term"). A regulator valve is again an actuator type. So:

1. AA fault code reads Turbo Boost Control Solenoid -> names what actuator itself is causing the fault.

2. Haynes Manual reads Turbo Boost Pressure Regulator Valve -> names what actuator itself is causing the fault.

3. Volvo Parts Computer Turbo Boost Actuator -> says that an actuator is broken. What it exactly is, isn't said, but see 1. & 2.
