Default Volvo new logo

Anyone else seen it, Volvo have a new logo, black on white with a simplified iron mark!

I'm driving a semi-milkfloat and the now logo does nothing for me.

It's more of a Wingding than a logo.

I dislike the minimalist logo trend which has really taken off in recent years.
It's even made it's way into TV so no doubt the Volvo logo will eventually end up as just a V like the Mastermind logo has become a a giant M and Question of Sport a large Q.

That's Exactly what it is , for the digital marking of electronic paperwork ..

Our joint presence in digital channels is rapidly increasing, so we need to future-proof the brand when it comes to its design in this environment. With the new, updated 2D iron mark, we want to convey simplicity, strength and a sense of modern innovation based on a rich heritage.

Are you suggesting the new logo is purely for electronic paperwork and the one on the car badges etc will remain the same? After all, they exist in a 3D world, not a 2D virtaul paper world.........
