Aye. Madness helps!! Skinned my knuckles and punched the manifold 3 times (in the rain!) this evening in the pursuit of stable boost!

But I've got it!

The main difference is they still make the R-Design watches, and you can buy them at dealerships for about that price. The "R" watch hasn't been made for a number of years and boxed originals are few and far between. I have one of them sat on my desk.

I can't decide if I want to instantly destroy its value by unpackaging it and wearing it, or to leave it in the safe and let it appreciate in value through rarity.

The "R" watch is linked to something much more iconic - R being better handing, more powerful, and fully loaded with all the options. The car, not the watch.

I just do not understand WHY people buy these things for them to spend there lives hidden away out of sight.........same goes to those who buy an R car, then keep the thing in the garage all its life and never use it. Bonkers

Mate....it's just a watch. Probably a Casio or Sekonda internals. It's not a Rolex, and will not appreciate like one

Pfft. My R hasn't been in a garage since I bought it and its a daily driver. I'd be mad to keep something like that hidden away! Its far too fun to drive!

Indeed, it may not appreciate, but I don't want to write off what I paid for it just yet lol! Its like buying Star Wars figurines and actually taking them out of the original packaging!

I'll wear it, just not yet. It looks very pretty on my desk!
