Brief update for my query: there was no solution, these modules can't be repaired easily so I bought a used SRS module.

Hi Spokoluzik

I believe I have a faulty DIM on a V70 petrol 2002 (speedo, rev counter, fuel gauge and oil temp gauge not working. SRS warning) Does this sound like a faulty DIM. Thanks

Join Hi,

I had to send my DIM for repair on Monday.*
Yesterday Lukas phoned to say unit repaired and ready to be returned.
Today the unit arrived.
Now fitted and working a treat.

Total 3 days.Great service.
Highly recommended.

Another happy customer here, sorted out a CEM issue I had see below.

He was very good at responding to emails, was concerned without the car (was a bit far to get to him) he couldn't be sure of the fix, but I was fine to take the chance after my internet research and his advice combined that the CEM was indeed the problem in my case.

A real asset to the forum/community

Just organised my DIM repair through the shop.

One question I have is about the SRS service message, will this be stored with a fault code requiring a diagnostic tool to reset or will it disappear after the repair?

Thanks for purchasing my service.
Yes you need to reset srs message as it has been stored in srs module and DIM only displays messages.
Just checked your location and you not that far from London. Whenever you're around i can plug my dice and reset message.
