Default Long Term Loan of 145 Estate

"Three babies in 14 months forces rethink of classic fleet strategy !". I am offering the loan of my 1974 Volvo 145 Estate. I want to keep her for the long term, but have so little time for the next few years. So, anyone interested in looking after and using her for a couple of years ? Very solid, reliable car. White with red interior. Retrimmed leather front seats from a 164. Recently rebuilt B20B (by Amazon Cars) with twin SUs, unleaded head and K cam. Overdrive gearbox, and recent clutch. Recent aftermarket exhaust and shock absorbers. 5 1/2 J wheels from 1800es with 205 series Viking radial tyres (1/4 worn). The proposal is for a minimum 1 year loan, at no cost, with 3 months notice each way. The car will be provided with a fresh MoT. I ask that you service, tax and MoT the car annually during the loan period. Also, ask that you insure it for an agreed value, to my benefit. At the end of the loan, I will reimburse you for any mechanical / bodywork that you have done (excluding normal service items - oil, plugs, filters, tyres, etc), subject to a 25% annual depreciation of those costs. So, if you have it for a year, all you pay for is servicing, tax and 25% of any work that you have done. If interested, please call Simon on 07801 577513 or email simoncordery@btinternet.com
