Roof panel wiring

Hi,

This is my first post on your fabulous forum (although I have read lots of posts!) - recently bought a 2005 V50 and just starting a few mods.

I'm looking for a permanent live from the loom to the front interior light panel. I've got a dash cam that fits over the rear view mirror & an in-line 5v USB supply to wire-in.

I did find a live but when load was drawn, relays started clicking and odd messages came up on the display (key not recognised!)

Actually... its a lovely car, my last was an E46 BMW touring - the V50 tops it!

When I needed a permanent live I took it from the 12V socket in the boot and ran the cable under the door sill trims from back to front.
