well a guy is very very interested in the 480. came to look at it today. he was very very SHOCKED by how clean and well kept it is. sadly though ive let her go for 1000. was i just being too optimistic about these cars. dont get me wrong it was a gorgeous car and il probablly never own another like it and very sad to see it go. the guy has had volvos all his life. and lives local to me so will be nice to see it around. shmae i had to get rid due to lack of space though, TRUST ME if i had my own drive to keep it on id keep it, ;'(

No mention of it sailing through an MOT or anything, or did I miss that bit?

Sounds more of a trying to hype up car, hoping for someone to come along and say "oh don't sell it I will give you 1100 quid for your car!"

a bit like shill bidding on Ebay, perhaps I'm to cynical, but happens many times, seems a bit odd, as car is showing as insured, but unlicensed, so has it been SORN'd and is it off road, is V5 in your name?

How about £250 genuine cash offer, assuming it now has a 12mth MOT, as it has 'sold' (and then unsold)
