D5 (2005 on) - V70 d5 auto no start

Hi i have a 2007 v70 d5 diesel auto parked up for 12 months refitted charged battery tried to start but no cranking checke all fuses are ok i put 12v to starter with key on and it cranked over still no start immobiliser light goes out when i unlock with key .help help

Gearbox inhibitor switch? Does it let you move the gearstick through the different positions with the engine not running? If so try it in Neutral instead of Park.
