Default 1.6D additive tank level

I’ve a 2010 1.6D V50 with the wet DPF. I bought it in December and everything’s going fine with it. Love the car.

I was snooping around in Vida today, and decided to run the level check on the additive dosage module. It did it’s thing (3 engine restarts) and came back with 15/15 - which I assume means full (or as full as it can measure).

Does this sound right? Even if it was topped up just before I bought it, would it still be showing full 4 months on? I’ve driven 7,230 KM (4,500 miles) in that time. I do 2 good 30 minutes motorway runs 5 days a week, so I’d expect my DPF to be staying healthy, but I’d also expect it to be using some fluid for DPF regen. Like I said, I’m not seeing any issues, just curious.

yes that indicates full , you top it up every 36000 miles , check the level again at 10000 miles . how many miles has the car done ? should be topped up at 37500 and 75000 mile services

Total mileage is just over 215,000KM (about 133,600 miles). So it’s probably on its 3rd fill.
