Default Loom of death (aka loom under radiator)

Manage to fix a non runner GDI V40 (may the Norse Gods forgive me for my sins), by changing the entire engine loom. Car was going mental and would not start at all due to an immobilizer fault. Cause of the problem below

Esssh! Note to self: Find a heavy duty heat resistant material to wrap around the loom...

Pure corrosion Matt. The wires were crumbling and fell apart. Anyone ants a 52 plate GDI with 100k on the clock??? lol.

Wires look thin and the insulation is very poor,how do you replace gatos cut the old crap out and install new cable.
