Default Breaking Volvo 940 B230FB GLE estate

Hi, i recently got a 940 as the title suggests, its in good working order, I was going to sell it, but thought i could use some parts from it, so decided i might break it instead. Would anyone need anything off it?

entire car/engine is good working order, 22 services on this engine, 211k miles.
full leather interior.

Car is in Tamworth, staffordshire

I'm after a Volvo Radio/Cassette for a 1996 940.

If you have one going I can mail you details of exact model I need.

Thanks, David

long shot - do you know if it has a locking diff? identified by a sticker (probably beneath the underseal) on one of the axle tubes that will say '1041' on it. Otherwise you can remove the diff cover and take a picture and I'll know what it is.

Standard can be open or a locker depending on lots of things like trim level/engine/build date/what the weather was doing that day, the only way to know for sure is to look :/

Hi lixah - and many thanks for radio info.

Can you mail me an e-mail address so I can send you photo of connectors that I need. Front of radio is exact match.

Thanks, David

Er, depends how good you are at squeezing under the back of the car! You should be able to find the sticker on the axle just by lying on the ground and wiggling your head and shoulders under the back. The sticker will be on the axle tube on the passenger side, probably covered over with underseal that will need scraping off to read the sticker.

The sticker looks like this:

'1041' denotes a locking diff, '1031' denotes an open diff.

Hi,

Does this car have an ambient(outside) temperature sensor on the dash by any chance? If so, how much for the LCD gauge from the dash?

Thanks.
