When you have no time to spend doing the right thing, try this. Loosen the two nuts on the roof holding the hinge in place(13mm long socket). Lub up the wire you can see on the open hinge. alternate using narrow nose pliers, and pulling the inside cable and use the pliers to push the door apperture access cable. it does move very slowly. It worked for me!! I've got a new cable and a helical wire to do the loop modification. I look forward the perminent solution. BrianH 728k B200E
