  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default v50 front shock

just had the front o/s front leg off to renew the top mount and found the shock will stay in position its left in ie will not return when depressed well it returns a little am i correct in saying the v50 1.6D they should once depressed return to original position

Yes, they should return to fully extended position. Time to replace....

thanks getting old have to check now and then
new one on order just hope the rain keeps away on the day it arrives, will have to check the other side while i inspect the top bearing

You may want to check the rear shocks as well. It is unlikely for only the front to go bad.

o/s done just have to inspect the n/s over the next week then onto the rear, and check the rear bushes while i am at it
