Default S40 1.6 Drive buying help

Hi,
I'm looking at buying a 1.6 Drive S40, however I have a few questions.

What sort of mileage should I be looking at? Quite a few are 100k + miles, is this an issue?

How much is the average service on one of these?

I've seen a few R Design models about, how comfortable are the seats compared to the standard seats?

Many thanks in advance for the help.

Hi There
I have been a Volvo owner for many years now and currently own a 2009 Volvo C30 1.6 diesel DRIVe with 120,000 miles on the clock, car runs exceptionally well and returns an average of 50.7 MPG
Full service history is paramount with any used Volvo and check to see if the timing belt/water pump has been changed or budget on having it done if the car is over 10 years old or over 100,000
Servicing costs will vary dependant on which service is due and where you take it. Volvo dealer will cost more but do provide software upgrade and valet in the price
Can't comment on the seats as mine is a SE LUX and has full black leather which I must say is very comfortable
Hope this helps

Thanks for your help

How much is a timing belt change roughly?

I'm just worried that a 100k Volvo could be expensive to maintain.
