Almost identical to the one I grew up with - the car that got me into Volvos in the first place. Looks lovely, best of luck with the sale. If only I had another Volvo sized space on my driveway...

I already spotted this estate and may pop down to Poole to bid. Sorry to bother you but nothing on the auction site re the engine? I assume 2litre injection?
happy to contact auction house directly if you prefer, looks lovely from the photos but need to see her in the flesh, |

Estimated value £800 to £1000. by the auction company! seems very low for a vehicle in this condition with a superb history...

Ridiculously low estimate IMHO. I think there are a few cars on there which are similarly under estimated. I’d be surprised if the highest bid was much below £3k, wouldn’t be surprised if it beat £4k.

I agree with 'novomobile' and 'eternal optimist'. I thought it was seriously under-estimated as well - bodes well for 'Reg E'. Let's hope the bidders agree on the day, and that it sells to somebody who will appreciate it and maintain it to the same standards.
Regards, John.

Thanks for the update. Due to work commitments, I may have to "bid blind", hate doing that. Agree with others that the estimate does seem low unless there is something they have not mentioned?
